The Health Department is the lead organization for Geary County SafeKids. SafeKids is an international organization aimed at protecting children ages 0 to 14 from unintentional injuries. Injuries include bicycle accidents, car accidents, burns, falls, choking, and a multitude of other dangers. The Health Department and SafeKids collaborate to provide safety equipment and education to the residents of Geary County.
